Most helpful drivers. I am physically handicapped and they helped me into the taxi both going and coming home. They were both on time and found me at the BRI when I was not sure where to go. I will certainly go on using Veezu cars, I think they are now called. First class.
I wanted to speak to someone so I could clarify things for my intended journey so I waited until I got through to an operator. The Agent/operator was totally disinterested in my custom. I gave her a pick up time of 12.15. I specifically asked how much it would cost and she said £10. I also asked if there was cash or card option, she said both were available. The taxi came at 12. Luckily I was ready. Taxi driver was wondetful, cannot fault him. We arrive at the destination and the fare was £12.60 I explained that I had been told it would be £10, taxi driver was willing to reduce/adjust the amount, however I paid the amount on his meter. When I produced my card to pay with, he said he had been told I would pay in cash..... He also explained the increase advising that the fare goes up by £2 after midday. I booked the taxi for 12.15, after midday, the operator did not explain the additional cost. Rubbish service by Cab company. Driver was stunning, very professional service, everything one would want in a driver. Shame the booking operator was so disinterested and unprofessional in all parts of her job?
Taxi was on time, but as usual stopped 50 yards away from my address. As a disabled passenger this is not ideal. It would be nice to be able to talk to a human when ordering a cab!
I used V-Cars and they were excellent. No problems with making the booking on my phone. I was notified when the cab was on its way and had arrived (it was early and that was great). The driver got me to my destination promptly and efficiently. And the cost estimate was pretty accurate too. It's not the first time I've used V- Cars and I will definitely use them again.
