Great experience in Bristol EF Center: My english level improved a lot although I expected a higher number of General English classes, accomodation was a little messy but finally well. A part of that, all good: learning path well design and managed, wonderful teachers and really amazing environment.

Really not happy about the accomodation. “The Print Hall”. I arrived this Sunday and was very tired after a long trip with the train from Belgium to England. They told me my bed was cleaned and room was vacuumed. I came into the room and really nothing of it was true. The room was dirty and my bed hadn’t even clean bed linen on, the changed it the day after in the afternoon. Shower & toilet were in my bedroom and seemed like it wasn’t been cleaned for over a year. So let’s talk about our shared kitchen now. What a horrible space. I heard from people on the same floor (LG) that they didn’t even cleaned it for 3 weeks now. It seems longer because the smell is not normal in there. We have no place to eat together. It smells horrible in there. I will NOT recommend EF Bristol!!! After asking a few times they finally cleaned my room but the kitchen is still not cleaned yet. Oxford in 2019 was much better, even though I had to share a room AND a bathroom. As a receptionist in a hotel I know well enough that a room has to be cleaned before the guests arrive. They pay for it. Just like I paid enough for this residence. I think even to much for what I get.

My 16 year old nephew was booked on an intensive 5 week course and since he has arrived, he has had a third of his lessons online (which he could have done back home), has received less lessons than the 32 promised and has not taken part in the activities he was ooked in (as an extra) due to overbooking. Very poor service, no value for the great amount of money they cost and a bored student. So much for an inmersive experience in the language and cultural England.

My daughter was placed in a dirty room. The kitchen was awful and dirty. They didn’t answer my emails and calls and it’s very unpleasant experience I will not recommend. Very disappointing with EF, I feel cheated
