Great small-medium size venue with a good sound system and acoustics. Drinks are reasonably priced and bar staff are friendly. Bit of a weird layout but the main room is a decent size and there's also a room with tables and chairs off to the side which is a bit quieter but still gives a pretty good view of the stage.
A fantastic venue for live music and club nights. The sound system is excellent, the stage layout ideal and the wooden dancefloor a treat. It is my personal favourite of all of Bristol's live music venues. One star has been taken off for the bar and the drinks served. Beers on tap is consistently bad and bottles tend to run out.
Really nice venue. It was my first time at Fiddlers. The gig was awesome, friendly staff, friendly bouncers. The only issue was long wait at the bar, but the night was busy so it was still all right.
Really great venue with awesome sound! Highly underrated and under used venue. Really good sized room with a decent sized bar.
A great little venue for live music. The bar area seemed a little grubby the last time I was in there (about a year ago), and looked like it could do with a few improvements but that doesn't matter much, what is important is that small venues like this continue to exist to bring good music to fans that larger, corporate venues like to pretend don't exist. The stage area and moshpit are close to the bar and the sound in the building has always been fairly good. I know this depends on the band playing, but I have always been happy with it. I just wish Fiddlers would advertise thier upcoming shows a bit better as I tend to hear about them after the show. Some posters around the local area and up at the university campuses would be my suggestions.
