One word - 'superb'. Nick and his team were easy to work with when we decided to sell our home. While they were truly professional, the experience felt relaxed and informal, precisely what you need during such a significant experience. From the start and right through, we were given solid advice and thorough feedback from viewings. Each bid was meticulously vetted, mitigating potential non-starters and avoiding costly delays. Aside from the anticipated back-and-forth of the conveyancing process, reaching an agreed sale price was achieved at warp speed in just four days. The sale also went through very swiftly too. My wife and I are so grateful for their support in selling our house and the over-and-above support in helping to secure our next home (in a new country).
The Elephant staff in Bishopston did a great job selling our home. It was a stress free and seamless process thanks to their ongoing communication. The team at Elephant managed to maintain continuity across personnel changes, which was helpful. They were usually responsive and gave sensible advice. They were also reassuring (correctly so) at times when the process was rather stressful (for outside reasons!). They also make an excellent cup of tea.
We bought a house with Alex as the seller's agent. I genuinely think we wouldn't have a home without the extraordinary effort he put in keeping the whole chain on track. He managed to speak to solicitors at the bottom of the chain who wouldn't answer the phone to our solicitors and also stop the top of the chain from pulling out. Excellent service and hats off to Alex!
We bought our first home through Elephant and subsequently sold it with them. We had several valuations but on meeting Ben from Elephant, we knew we could trust him with our home and he was very knowledgable about the area. He was a pleasure to work with throughout and so proactive in helping us chase the rest of the chain. We had a long chain and there were a lot of challenges during the 10 month period it took to complete but Ben kept on top of everything from the bottom of the chain all the way to the top. I don’t think we would have even achieved 10 months if it weren’t for his perseverance (I expect the chain could have fallen apart to be honest!). He genuinely cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to help. We always felt better about the situation after speaking with him and felt like there was a way forward, even in the most stressful times (there were more than a few). Thank you, Ben! :)
